PEK離型紙是將PE粒子通過流延機涂覆在紙張表面。由于表面附著PE層，相對來說具有更好的防潮性。同時由于PE粒子的特性，PEK具有更高的撕裂度和柔韌性。
PEK is manufactured by coating silicone polymer on poly-coated side of base paper. The extruded PE-layer is primarily protecting the paper against moisture and is enhancing the dimensional stability of a liner.
